The tiniest insect or an unintentional gesture can lead us to other paths.
We never know the impact of the actions of strangers or even of inanimate objects: I'd like to acknowledge the porcelain Fado vase sitting in the window at Vista Alegre in Lisbon, the unknown Australian lady whose sweater was turned inside out, the interior decorator who appreciated playful animated characters, the international university coordinator, the wonderful inspiring models, knowing and unknowing, who allow me to draw them as my heart perceives and my fingers decide, of course my friends and "fans" who take the time to examine my characters. - all of you have been instrumental in bringing me here.
To my wonderful parents, my dad (probably reading)and my mom (likely listening to hits of the '60's) who are watching from above- my heartfelt appreciation.
Above all, I want to thank and dedicate this site to my tenacious angel who had faith in my animated characters, never let me relax, supported me on every level, shared his brilliant ideas and never ending encouragement, insistence and persistence. Without him my characters would have never been born.
In giving me my wings, you have earned yours.
